Long time no talk my lovelies! I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful weekend, whether it was just hanging out at home or on an adventure. For me, It was attending this years Youtube and Blogger event called BeautyCon out here in Los Angeles.
I was so fortunate enough to meet and attend this weekends Soirée with a beautiful lady whom I've been attending Makeup Designory with for the past month. Everybody meet Tori! She's got the cutest blog and a style to die for, and a huge inspiration to me. Here's her blog---> (An.Edgy.World) This won't be the first time you'll hear about Tor because we have some great things in Store.... for all of you! (Rhyme intended) in the very near future.
Let's get to the good stuff.
I have this horrible habit when getting ready for events that I have to look a certain way, to the point where it gives me anxiety if things don't go right (hair, makeup, timing, ect)
For the majority of my life finding my identity was my biggest struggle, and to be honest the struggle is still real for me today.
That's what I loved most about this event. It reminds people that you don't have to morph into something you're not comfortable being. To me being confident is the first step to a happy and healthy life.
Confidence may not come easy and take it from me its hard work. I've learned that not everyone is going to accept you for the way you dress or do your makeup but at the end of the day when you stay true to who you are, who's to tell you you're wrong?
This year was all about fashion, bloggers and women empowerment. I'll forever carry this day in my heart because I learned so much about myself and how I am the only ME. There are trillions of people in this world, but there is no one like ME or YOU and I hope others gained the same.
